The front year starts bullish into February and gains 3 €/MWh. From mid of the month on, though, it turns into a bearish market and closes at a 12 month low. Driven by falling oil prices, Cal 21 NCGH comes down as well and closes at a yearly low.
For many of the participants in the enmacc market sentiment, the rising market at the beginning of the month was apparently unexpected. Quite some traders awaited even more bearish prices.
